Australia’s Push for Solar is Weakening. – A study on Solar impact on AU region.

Electricity is one of the vital parts of our life. In this modern age, our life runs on consistent availability of electricity. We cook food, coffee, iron clothes, our elevators, phones, the internet, all run through electric power. In short, from the moment we open our eyes at dawn till we go back to sleep at night, we are constantly using a gadget that uses power in one or another way. Some different sources are used to generate electricity which includes oil, nuclear power, coal, fossil fuels, and natural resources. With the increment of environmental issues, health hazards, and economic factors associated with power generation through coal or fossil fuel energy; the use of solar energy has become inevitable. There has been a lot of debate for so many years regarding eco-friendly investment in energy sector, through the use of natural resources to generate electricity and fulfil other accessory needs than using coal or fossil fuels. There are numerous benefits of using solar, wind or thermal energy to fulfil our electricity needs. Among these natural resources, solar energy is the most accessible, easy to transform, and widely available. With the passage of time, it has really become the need of the day, and surely everyone is going to require the availability of solar panels to get solar energy in the near future.

Solar panels are specifically designed to utilise sun’s heat energy after absorption. These thermal panels convert the heat energy of sun’s rays into electricity; that can be transferred into homes to get ventilation and heating systems running.

Why Solar Panels are need of the Day:

Solar panels are specifically designed to utilise sun’s heat energy after absorption. These thermal panels convert heat energy of sun’s rays into electricity. This electricity can easily be wired to all systems that use electric supply. So the availability of environment-friendly energy can solely fulfil all our energy needs. It is perceived that solar energy cannot replace our conventional resources of electricity generation. Statistics shows that there is an increased trend of investment in this industry. There has been a marked drop in the prices of solar panels in previous three decades, which shows its potential for future use. On the other hand, coal costs have increased up to 13% since 2008. As the solar is extremely helpful to reduce environmental issues, there is an ever-growing demand for energy panels. There are countless advantages of solar panels against conventional energy resources. A few of which are concisely presented below. There are plenty of case studies out there where companies are making a fortune. For an example look at this case study for Eurosolar.

Socio-Economic Element

With increasing socio-economic and political debates on international forums, it is extremely hard to get mutual benefits without shattering world’s peace. Simultaneously, the fluctuating world economy and inflation ruin any sort of healthy dialogue. As the fossil and coal deposits are scattered in different regions, so any international disagreement can cause social and economic anarchy, price volatility and chaos. Whereas solar energy is available in every nook and corner of the world and will remain available for billions of years. So, in the future use of solar panels to get free electricity will be a need for everyone.

Electricity Cost for Consumers

Pricing is one of the main concern at the user end. Of course, you will prefer cheap over expensive, if both are fulfilling your needs to the same extent. Well, it has always been one of the main points of discussion, raised against solar panels use. Well, undoubtedly, the cost of photovoltaic cell was surely unaffordable a few years ago. But now it is negligible to that price.Check CEC. The cost of these cells has decreased by approximately 60%, in the period of 2011-2013. Simultaneously, the cost of all other industrial components that are needed to make up these cells has decreased too. Prices for the solar cells have come down from $75/watt to approximately $0.75/watt. While there are some markets where the cost of solar power has equalised with coal power costs. So it seems a real deal both with industrial and home investment point of view.

With consumers’ point of view, it is a onetime investment deal. As you just have to pay for solar panels one time, and after a few years, there will be a time that solar panels will pay for themselves. It’s just a matter of proper installation. In simple words, it is a real deal for savings. As the trend of these solar panel installation is increasing in many countries, so with many positive user reviews, everyone will switch to solar energy usage.

Environment-Friendly Renewable Energy Source

Consideration of environment-friendly techniques to get electricity is obviously the need of the day. The negative impact of coal energy is pretty clear, while the use of solar energy is here to eradicate all these. Here are some of the most important environmental effects that are caused by coal extraction and its burning.

Air Pollution: Electricity through fossil or coal sources is generated through burning, which produces extremely hazardous and acidic gases. The extraction of these gases increase air pollution and become one of the main reason of toxins, cancers, and respiratory tract disorders.

Combustion Waste: Burning of coal not only spread smoke and toxins in the environment but also proved to make the second largest landfill of waste. So not only increasing the air pollution but also piling up an enormous amount of garbage.

Emission of Toxic Carbon compounds: As coal is all carbon, the by-products it emits in the form of toxic gases is extremely hazardous. Tonnes of pounds of methane, sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, mercury are produced annually. Other than toxic gases radioactive materials also pile up and keep on emitting harmful rays. All in all coal energy production is damaging our environment to an extreme extent; that is the main reason of global climate change.

Because of environmental and cost effective availability of solar panels, the trend is changing, as both investors and the common public are switching towards renewable environment-friendly energy resources. How a colleague accidentally tripped me and revealed my mental issues?

The human physiology and biological functioning are no less than a wonder. Anger management comes in the domain of emotional intelligence. Although like all living organisms the major structure for the human body and biological functioning is the same, yet each is a unique combination of different characteristics. It is one of the superiority of humanity that each and every member of this regime is highly identical as well as utterly unique at the same time.

Many of you may be thinking that how being equal and unique is possible at the same time. If we look at the internal body function and biological facts the major outline or structure, upon which the average human body system is built, remains almost same for all people around the world. But when you start depicting the uniqueness, the list is endless. The genetic makeup and the pattern of characteristics for every individual is a unique set for millions of humans around the world.

This uniqueness is more like part of an individual’s personality. That is why human beings differ from one another; even the children of same parents vary with another. This is where character comes into play. Not all individuals have the same combination for every trait and with different levels of multiple features every person makes up a unique personality. There can be similarities between the two persons who rank the same on an individual level for a trait.

These facts become more important when the study subject become the humans. This is why sociologists and psychologists claim that experimenting in humans is the most difficult of all. It is because based on their intelligence, wisdom, experience and internal feedback systems humans have the capacity to alter and change their responses, for the same stimuli. The answers may vary depending upon the analysis of the surrounding. The phenomenon if personality is widely being considered in the area of human resource management. It is because every organisation is thriving to achieve the best possible talent for it. In this quest, they want to analyse each and every individual of their team to possess the best possible traits, which can not only affect the organisation’s growth but will also help the person to grow emotionally and mentally. It is because the well-being of employees is ultimately depicted in the balance sheet figures of a person. I came to know about all this while I was reading a human resource blog. But how my interest developed in reading this material. It is after a diagnostic incident which made me rise that I need a through working on my personality and behaviour. Its importance becomes twofold when you are working in a large company and especially on group projects.

A few months back our company audit was in progress. Everyone in the office was quite busy, or you can say fatigued. The review team was asking for records and files, and everybody was dead busy. I was working on my system when one of my colleagues in a rush to open the cupboard got tripped over me. I was having a coffee cup by my side, and it all spilt over my table.

Although he was not intentional in doing so yet, I became too furious. My voice crossed the limits and all of the colleagues gathered. My manager came, with whom there was a team member of the audit committee. They handled the situation and calmed me down. After few minutes of this incident when I sat again on my personal computer I felt embarrassed. I surely overreacted. Although it was not his fault yet he was apologising and should not have yelled at him. But then I realised that the stress of audit along with work pressure mixed up to make me behave in this way. My anger crossed the limit, and there came a stage where I let it spill out as it is. I was unable to “manage” myself.

The audit committee penned certain amendments as well improvements. The HR head suggested for an anger management at workplace caring for r all those who are believed to be angrier at work. For me and many other it seemed insulting in the start, but again we realised that we were unable to “manage” our anger. Anger is a temporary state of mind in which a person became furious. Their reaction to this mental state can be in the form of the scream, loud voice or even beating. All these are unacceptable behaviours at work. But these are the realities of human nature which the experts of human resource management have accepted. Now the modern notion of anger management state that anger is a temporary phase of mind and people can be made to deal with this state of mind through different drills and activities. Anger is not a trait; it is just the absence of control. But the human body is based on the excellent ability of flexibility so people can be easily made to manage this state if mind.

It is a trait of an individual who can understand and depict one’s emotions, moods, and feelings. Managing the emotions is an essential part needed at the workplace. It is because a single employee will be involved with so many other people around that his behaviours can affect others. I have also undergone through the whole practice of anger management, and now after just a few months I feel much improvement. Not only me, but my colleagues have also mentioned this visible change.

Anger management must be taken as an essential tool for humans because they are social creatures. None of us can live in isolation. We cannot leave those alone, who become angry too quick. All we can do is to manage this through effective anger management.
